Sega teases a New Sonic – Stop me if you’ve heard this one

Keep an eye on NeedleMouse.com because if you’re (A) a fan of Sonic – and by that I mean 2D Sonic! – and (B) enjoy pain, punishment, and being disappointed then it may be just the site for you.

Apparently this site and the trailer below are giving out little tidbits of what we can only hope are years and years of prayers being answered. To be honest, Sonic has been dead to me since right after Sonic Adventure. I get it, Mario and Link made the move to 3D with tremendous success but I’m sorry Sonic, you just couldn’t pull it off. There’s no need to be talking, no need to be making out with chicks, just stop it already! You’ve tarnished nearly all the good times we had together.

Like a battered housewife coming back for more, I will have my finger firmly at the ready on the F5 button for when this site changes.
