PAX gets Swine Flu!

Though it might not be as serious as the T-Virus, the first case of the H1N1 virus was recently confirmed via the official PAX twitter account, “Just heard of our first test-confirmed swine flu case at the show. PLEASE if you feel symptoms (fever, etc) go to the doctor.”

With around 60,000 sweaty nerds attendees, the possibility of more turning up is guaranteed.  Obviously if you don’t feel good, use some common sense.  Stay home, no need to soldier into work, keep your germs to yourself, stay away from kids and old people.

In other news, the regular flu kills thousands of people a year and yet it still just goes by “flu”.  So, the sky isn’t falling just yet, chicken little.  Let’s just play this one smart.

Now I don’t feel so envious of those who got to go.
