Steampunk and Furries collide in NeoSteam

* Quick update: The gamico press release today was in reference to an English version in Europe only. Atlus Online released the US-based Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent in July of this year. Both games are free to play and aim to provide a ton of content and RvR/PvP excitement. If you’re in Europe, please check out the release below. If your idea of awesome is Steampunk mixed with furry animals set in an MMORPG world, then you probably couldn’t be happier about this news post. European game developer gamigo has announced today the US commercial launch of the free to play steampunk MMO, NeoSteam. Enter into the epic battle between Elerd Kingdom and the Republic of Rogwel. The player will help shape the destiny of each factions forever.

This game looks to have scantily-clad hampster women and magicians riding skull-endorned motorcycles. Frankly, I’m excited to get home and download it. Staffers Brandon and Cam will likely also be testing out this game as it involves everything someone should want in a game: online gaming, steampunk, talking Furby dolls, action, magic, leveling and the aforementioned near nude modeling.
