New World of Warcraft Expansion announced at Blizzcon

As expected, Blizzard revealed the next expansion for World of Warcraft at Blizzcon earlier today. Get ready for Cataclysm! There’s more info here than you can shake a stick at, but here are some of the juicier bits:

• 2 new races: Worgen (Alliance) and Goblins (Horde)
• New level cap of 85
• Big changes to the world of Azeroth.  The continents as we knew them will no longer exist as they have been broken to pieces.
• Flying in the old world!!  Finally!
• New profession: Archaeology
• Remastered old world dungeons at heroic difficulty starting with Van Cleef’s Deadmines!  Van Cleef pay big for your head!
